Construction on the five-story building began in 2009 and is expected to begin serving students and faculty in time for the fall 2012 semester.
“This building is yet another symbol of the university’s aspirations and provides visual evidence that we are truly ‘building our future’ at the University of Houston,” said UH President Renu Khator. “We are grateful to Insperity for partnering with us to advance this important student success initiative.
“Insperity Center is located in the heart of campus near the Cullen College of Engineering,” Khator said. “The new building is a key component of the university’s ‘professional’ precinct along with Melcher Hall, Calhoun Lofts and Cemo Hall, forming a courtyard that provides higher visibility for the Bauer College of Business.”
“Insperity’s commitment to helping businesses succeed so communities prosper is exemplified by the Insperity Center and our belief in the outstanding programs and education that the C.T. Bauer College of Business provides to our future business leaders of tomorrow,” said Insperity President Richard G. Rawson. “We are honored and humbled to partner with one of the world’s best business schools on this endeavor, and we look forward to what the future holds for the students who are fortunate enough to study here.”

“As we look forward to the official completion and dedication of this new building, I am excited that the student learning experience will be enhanced both inside the classroom and outside, through meeting rooms for student organizations and activities.”
